What happened?

Leipzig then took the lead: David Raum played a precise free kick into the penalty area, where Baumgartner jumped higher than all others and headed the ball to 0:1. Köln tried to equalize, Eric Martel tested Gulácsi after a corner, but Leipzig went into the break with the lead.

After the break, Köln came out with new momentum. Ragnar Ache missed the equalizer with a header, but two minutes later the home fans cheered: Thielmann took a ball at the edge of the penalty area, turned and shot it unstoppable into the top right corner – 1:1!
