The Hoffenheim striker was already agreed with the league rival, but failed the medical check on Friday. The Leipzig wanted to pay around 25 million euros for Asllani, which was also the price of Pejcinovic for VfL Wolfsburg. But it remained a try.
Pejcinovic wants to go to Stuttgart, even turned down an offer from FC Porto. The Leipzig attempt came too late, the transfer to VfB was probably already decided. Now Pejcinovic only needs to pass the medical check, before the transfer is no longer in the way.
