Lisa Baum and Gina Chmielinski leave RB Leipzig after just one year with the club. The 19-year-old scored six goals and provided five assists in her debut season.
Why the departures matter
Lisa Baum joined Leipzig from Hamburg SV in the summer of 2025 and immediately impressed. Her performances as a U23 national player underline her talent: six goals, five assists in 34 matches. Viola Odebrecht, head of Women’s & Girls’ Football, stressed that her transfer is "a good solution for all parties."

Of the ten new signings in the RB squad, seven were present at the training start: Alieke Tuin, Marie Kleemann, Aude Waldbillig, Jasmien Mathys, Charlotte Hulst, Therese Simonsson and Sophie Lindner. Emanuela Pfister currently plays for the Swiss U21 European Championship.
