RB Leipzig misses out on Fisnik Asllani transfer due to medical concerns. The Kosovar international was actually already at RB Leipzig, but the transfer fell through at the last minute. TSG Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig were in talks over a potential transfer of Fisnik Asllani. This transfer comes due to medical concerns that RB Leipzig had filed, and it did not come to fruition. Asllani traveled to RB Leipzig's training camp in Austria on Thursday evening to undergo a medical check. Hoffenheim had previously released the midfielder for the check. During the examination, the concerns arose in Saxony, which ultimately led to Leipzig backing out of the 25 million euro transfer. This is the amount of the exit clause in Asllani's contract with Hoffenheim. The Kosovar international was Leipzig's absolute top target for the striker position. According to Sky, all the details of the deal had already been agreed upon, and Asllani was to sign a five-year contract with the Champions League participant until 2031.
